Co-Organization of Dissertation Workshop by the Public Relations and Organizational Communication Department of the German Communication Association

On October 22, 2025 Sabrina Ennenbach, PhD candidate at our institute, is going to co-organize the dissertation workshop by the Public Relations and Organizational Communication department (PROK) of the German Communication Association in Greifswald, Germany. 

Since January 2025 Sabrina Ennenbach is part of the young researchers representatives team of the PROK department (naprok) which she forms together with Dr. Alexandra Schwinges, University of Amsterdam, and Julia Lührmann, University of Münster. The three representatives organize network meetings and engage for the interests of young researchers within the department. Their work also includes the dissertation workshop, which is the largest annual young researchers meeting of the naprok network. The workshop offers doctoral students the opportunity to exchange ideas about dissertation projects and receive feedback from renowned professors within the field. At the subsequent annual conference of the PROK department taking place from October 23 to 24, Schwinges, Lührmann, and Ennenbach report on the network’s activities over the past year. 

Last year, Ennenbach herself joined the dissertation workshop as a participant: “I felt right at home at the last dissertation workshop of the network. The workshop itself helped me to proceed with my work. I therefore appreciate the network a lot and am delighted to be able to give something back. I am looking forward to this year's workshop,” the PhD candidate says.
