Estel is a PhD student in the Political Psychology & Communication Lab at the University of Koblenz-Landau (at Landau). Estel, originally from South Korea, completed her Bachelor’s degree in German Language and Literature at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and received her Master’s degree in Communication at the Graduate School of Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. Estel has 7 years of working experience in communication in multi-national companies as an Asia/pacific Social media manager. Her research is driven by her interest in new media and digital journalism.

Estel Huh studies political communication. Specifically, she focuses on the hostile media phenomenon in new media environments from a comparative perspective (Germany and South Korea).
