Christian von Sikorski is an Assistant Professor of Political Psychology (tenure track) at the Institute of Communication Psychology and Media Education, Department of Psychology, University of Koblenz-Landau (at Landau), Germany. His research focuses on political psychology and political communication with an emphasis on political polarization, the role of misinformation in digital media environments, political scandals and terrorism coverage and effects.
Dr. von Sikorski’s research appeared in leading academic journals including Annals of the International Communication Association, Communication Research, International Journal of Press/Politics, Political Psychology, Media Psychology, Political Communication, Nature Communications, and elsewhere. Prior to joining University of Koblenz-Landau he was a faculty member at the University of Vienna (Austria), Department of Communication (2015-2019).
