Who we are:
We are the student council of the Human and Environment degree program.
A student council is the entirety of all duly enrolled students of a degree program.
Therefore, all students in the B. Sc. Sc. Humanity and Environment belong to our student council. The active student council is elected once a year from among these students.
In addition, non-elected student council members can of course also get involved in individual projects and committees and attend the student council meeting.
What we do:
As student representatives, we support you with organizational questions during your studies and serve as contact persons for exchange and discussion with our lecturers. We also work to ensure that our concerns are heard by the right people at the university.
We also plan introductory days for first semester students, the first semester trip, student council parties and the regulars' table. We are also present at events in the city and at the university (e.g. summer café and sustainability day) and organize the flea market city of Landau.
In order to ensure good communication and to exchange ideas, a student council meeting takes place approximately every two weeks. All interested students are always welcome to attend. We look forward to a lively participation in the meeting and your input.
As we still have a manageable student council size, anyone can contribute their ideas, wishes and suggestions to our student council at any time. We are always happy to see new faces who enjoy student council work!
