Contents and study plan

The Master's degree course comprises 180 credit points and a standard period of study of 4 semesters/2 years.

In addition to 7 compulsory modules (81 CP), a non-clinical elective module (9 CP) must be selected and a Master's thesis must be completed (30 CP).

 

The compulsory modules include:

  • "Diagnostics and assessment"
  • "Specialization in research methods"
  • "Disease and procedural theory, documentation and evaluation"
  • "Professionally qualifying activity II"
  • "Professionally qualifying activity III"
  • "Applied psychotherapy and recent developments"
  • "Psychotherapy research"

 

The non-clinical compulsory elective module must be chosen from the (non-clinical) modules of the Landau General Master's degree program in Psychology.
The choice takes place in the first week of lectures in the first semester. You will be informed about this on site.
