I am a clinical researcher, licensed psychologist, and recent associate in a research initiative which pursues the overarching goal to understand affect regulation from different perspectives and disciplines. In this initiative, I am excited to be introduced to concepts and methodological approaches of other research areas. My hope is to use this knowledge to improve psychological treatments for chronic pain, e.g. by better understanding transdiagnostic aspects of emotion and pain regulation or optimize therapeutic strategies to overcome pain-related fears.
