Dr. Philipp Herzog appointed UniGR-Guest Professor at the University of Liège

We congratulate Dr. Philipp Herzog on his appointment as a UniGR-Guest Professor at the University of Liège from October 1 to November 30, 2025.

The University of the Greater Region (UniGR) is a cross-border network of seven universities in the Greater Region (RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, University of Liège, University of Lorraine, University of Luxembourg, Saarland University, University of Trier, htw saar). Founded in 2008 with support from the EU as part of the Interreg IV A program, UniGR fosters innovative academic and research collaboration across national borders.

The UniGR-Guest Professorship (→ more information), awarded annually, offers a two-month research stay at one of the partner universities. It is open to professors and postdocs from all disciplines and selected through a competitive two-stage process. Funding is provided by the Marienburg Foundation under the patronage of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
