Prof. Dr. Tobias Kube receives approval for junior research group in the DFG Emmy Noether Program

The new research program focuses on the difficulties people with depression face in processing positive experiences and using them to challenge negative assumptions. It aims to precisely characterize these deficits using a multi-method approach, clarify their causal role in the course of depressive symptoms, and examine their relevance for responses to psychotherapeutic treatments.

The research is conducted in collaboration with the Central Psychological Laboratory (led by Dr. Stephan König) and the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic (WiPP).
