Prof. Dr. Johan Vlaeyen visits our research group

We were honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Johan Vlaeyen — renowned pain researcher, developer of the fear-avoidance model, and long-time collaborator of our research group — for a productive week working together this May.

During his visit, he provided valuable feedback on our ongoing projects and broadened our perspectives — including some surprising insights into the behavior of bumblebees and its relevance for exposure therapy. And, of course, we also enjoyed sharing some delicious Belgian sweets together!
